Operating in London it’s not uncommon that we encounter significant renovation projects with a goal of adding a ‘touch of class’ to the home.

This particular client was looking for exactly that – to significantly renovate and extend their house in East London, whilst modernising the interior with a grown-up and premium feel.

After following our detailed consultation and proposal process, our client took the leap into a bespoke extension and renovation for their house in Upper Walthamstow Road, East London.

As with all of our extension projects, we provided end-to-end management of the entire process, ensuring consistency with the client brief, and continuity of works throughout. We managed the planning, design, build and finish to produce an exceptional result.

The entire build took around 6 months, even with a significant stumbling block along the way: we found some steelwork within the existing structure that did not feature in the design.

Drawing upon our years of expertise we were able to remove the existing steelwork without causing damage to the bathroom above, and continue with the project on budget and on schedule.

Extending the house at multiple points created space for a ​​large kitchen, diner, garden studio, whiskey snug, utility and bathroom – all of which were finished to the highest quality, in order to achieve the high-end, mature feel that the client had requested.

Our client was over the moon with how we managed the project from start to finish, particularly navigating the issue with the unexpected steelwork.

Overall, we were able to deliver exactly what they needed, both in terms of function and aesthetic, in line with both client budget and expectations.
